Costs

Costs to join Pack 55 are composed of:

  1. The Scouting America national membership fees ($85 national membership fee, plus an optional $15 subscription to Scout Life Magazine), which is paid directly to Scouting America when you register on their website.

    • Fill out the Scouting America Youth Application Form and pay BSA national membership fee online.

  2. The Activity Fee pays for Pack 55’s activities.  For 2026-2027, the Activity Fee is $155 per family. (Note: As of fall 2026, Pack 55 has moved to a flat, per-family activity fee, rather than a per-Scout activity fee as in previous years.)  The Activity fee can be offset or eliminated by popcorn fundraiser sales.  $450 of popcorn sales fully eliminates the Activity Fee.

    • We accept check or credit card.

      • Checks should be made payable to Pack 55 and can be brought to the Pack meeting or mailed to Stacey Oliver at 1509 Arcadia Avenue, Austin, TX 78757.

  3. The Cub Scout uniform may be purchased from the Scout Shop, located within the Frank Fickett Scout Training and Service Center at 12500 North IH 35, Austin, Texas, 78753, or online.
